LINKIN-PARK-A-THON!!!!! MUSIC REVIEW

So, as obvious as it is, I am a big fan of Linkin Park's music. They have been around my radar ever since we had Cable TV. And I would go on MTV, Channel V and Hitz FM just to watch music videos from various huge artists around the 2000s. It was also the same era that I stumbled upon the many awesome rock artists and bands which stood out from what I called "Mediocre Rock" (or 2000's pop rock). The Strokes, Simple Plan, White Stripes, Slipknot, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Daft Punk, Et Cetera (an expression but there is actually a Canadian band with that name so that's pretty cool.)
And holy hell, how could I forget Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance [intentionally forgotten]. The first few songs and music videos from them were "Numb" and "Points of Authority". But I only started becoming their fan after Mike Shinoda's solo project Fort Minor and their upcoming single "What I've Done" which came out in Transformers the Movie. So the first album I ever owned was "Minutes to Midnight"--except that it was not an original album.

Yeah, at the other side of the world....here, piracy is a huge market. Popos got NOTHING on us back then, so we could buy and sell whatever shit we wanted at the lowest price at the random-est quality, and we were happy. *sniff* Freaking love being a pirate in a pirate world. (Look, I personally don't mind about piracy. I don't care about it as long as I got decent quality stuffs out of it. So the moral here is DON'T BE ME.)
So after a few years, I got my actual, original first album...and it wasn't "Minutes To Midnight". It was "Living Things". But then I owned "Minutes To Midnight" Limited Edition which includes two discs in a black fabric thick cover booklet. One disc is the actual album and the other disc is a DVD of the Making of "Minutes To Midnight", and more. And the last album I owned from them is "The Hunting Party".
As far as I know, there a lot of Linkin Park fans who stopped being fans because they've changed musical style and all. But personally, I welcomed it. Hell, I think they still make really great songs that could still touch this little, black heart of mine to beat. Yeah, it kind of beats differently from how it beats upon listening to "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora", but the reaction is the same--it reacts emotionally. And that's one of the coolest thing about Linkin Park for me. They keep changing, keep evolving, keep experimenting, and take a risk at it. It brought good things...and it brought bad things as well.
Right here, I am not denying the flaws that they show in their development as musicians, and keep on boasting about how great they are back in the days when they still also show flaws in those days as well, except they probably showed it subtly--which is why, I will be reviewing each album per month. I might go professional, and I might go...the other way. The reason why I'm doing this is also because...I heard that Linkin Park is currently recording their newest studio album and will probably come out this year.
So if you guys wish to check the reviews, then the first review will come up on Monday. And it will be the one that revolutionizes the Rock and Metal genre....

If you guys want me to review any album or any band you like, just let me know in the comment. I want to make this REVIEW BLOG, a thing for me aside from making music, videos and art.
Until then,
Stay beautiful, stay safe and stay alive. Don't let the rain wipes away your smile.
